Then, to know the components needed for a build, you can print the assembly item through the Build Assemblies page.

I'd recommend pulling up the Inventory Stock Status by Item report to print the quantity on hand of your assembly item. You'll have to print two sets of data to get the information you need.

However, you can pull up the appropriate inventory report to show the on-hand quantity of the assembly item. Currently, there isn't an option through the Build Assemblies module. You can pull up the Inventory Stock Status by Item report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise, can see the benefit of being able to print the quantity on hand when building an assembly item in QBDT Enterprise Solutions.
